Coolpad Note 3 Lite with fingerprint sensor launched at Rs 6,999

Coolpad Note 3 Lite whiteCoolpad has launched a new device the Coolpad Note 3 Lite which is the smaller version of the earlier Coolpad Note 3. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is priced at Rs 6,999. The smartphone will be available via flash sale on Amazon.in. The first flash sale will be held on January 28.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS HD display, with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor based on 64-bit architecture, clocked at 1.3GHz. This chipset was earlier seen in the Meizu M2, which came out last year. The processor is coupled with 3GB of RAM and smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The device comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite has a similar design to the Coolpad Note 3, and offers a fingerprint sensor at the back. Coolpad claims that the fingerprint sensor can unlock the phone within 0.5 seconds. It can also be assigned to open or authorize transactions in installed apps.

The 4G-enabled phone offers dual-SIM support, and will support 4G on both SIM slots. The phone comes with a 2500mAh battery. The main competition to the phone will be the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 3. Xiaomi is likely to announce the Redmi 3 in India within this first quarter.
