Xiaomi Redmi 3 with 4100mAh Battery Launched

Xiaomi Redmi 3 smartphoneXiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 3 smartphone priced at CNY 699 (approximately Rs 7,000). Xiaomi has lauched the smartphone ahead of its scheduled launch on Tuesday. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 smartphone is now listed on the company site in China with pricing details. But the company is yet to announce the availability of the Redmi 3 smartphone.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 features a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 405 GPU for graphic processing. It also comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. The smartphone runs MIUI 7 though Xiaomi has not revealed the Android version on the Redmi 3.

The Redmi 3 sports a 13MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and f/ 2.0 aperture. It also supports 1080p full-HD video recording. The handset also features a 5MP front-facing camera which also supports full-HD recording. The dual-SIM Redmi 3 comes with hybrid SIM slot that support one Micro-SIM and other Nano-SIM alongside microSD card.

The Redmi 3 comes with 4G LTE connectivity, with support for LTE bands in India. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, GPRS/ EDGE, and Micro-USB connectivity.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 smartphone is backed by a powerful 4100mAh non-removable battery with fast charging. The Redmi 3 features an all-metal body with a diamond-patterned finish at the back and it measures at 139.3x69.6x8.5mm and weighs 144 grams. The handset is listed to be available in Gold, Grey, and Silver colours.
