Lenovo Vibe X3 launched in India at Rs 19,999

Lenovo Vibe X3 smartphoneLenovo has launched its new premium smartphone, Lenovo Vibe X3, in India for Rs 19,999. Lenovo Vibe X3 will go on sale today on Amazon India. There is no flash sale for this smartphone.

Like the Lenovo K4 Note, the Vibe X3 also supports VR Threatre Max. Users can get a 100-degree, theatre-style big screen experience via the VR headset from their Lenovo Vibe X3 smartphone. The company is providing Skullcandy Ando earphones and ANT VR virtual reality headset for the smartphone at Rs 1,299 each.

Lenovo says the Vibe X3 offers one of the best sound experiences on a smartphone in the industry. Lenovo Sound offers HD Audio with Dolby Atmos on the dual front speakers, as well as on the headphones. Lenovo claims it has used the best DACs in the phone to offer lossless playback. Lenovo has also partnered with Skull Candy to introduce special headphones.

Lenovo Vibe X3 features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with 1920x1080 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 401 ppi. The handset is powered by a 1.8GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and Adreno 418 GPU. The smartphone comes with 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB. The Lenovo Vibe X3 runs the company’s Vibe UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 sports a 21MP rear camera featuring a Sony IMX230 senor with a 6 piece lens, f2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. The device also packs an 8MP front-facing camera. The camera can record 4K videos. It also comes with a slow motion mode to record slow motion videos.

The device comes with Hybrid Dual Nano standby Sim (4G+4G). On the connectivity front, the Lenono Vibe X3 offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and microUSB. The smartphone packs a 3,500mAh battery which supports fast-charging. The battery is rated to deliver up to talk-time of 31 hours on 2G, 26 hours on 3G networks and standby time of 618 hours on 4G networks.

Lenovo K5 Note with full metal body Launched in China

Lenovo K5 Note with full metal bodyLenovo has launched the K5 Note smartphone in China priced at CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs 11,350). The Lenovo K5 Note will be sold via a flash sale in China. The company hasn't revealed any details about the launch of the Lenovo K5 Note outside China.

The Lenovo K5 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The handset comes with a full metal body design. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner placed below the camera module on the rear panel. The handset also packs Dolby Atmos powered speakers.

The Lenovo K5 Note is powered by a 1.8GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. It packs 16GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage of up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with company's Vibe UI on top.

The Lenovo K5 Note sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, an f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The handset also features an 8MP front-facing camera.

The dual-SIM dual-4G Lenovo K5 Note supports 4G LTE and is compatible with India's LTE bands as well. Other connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, and FM radio. The handset supports dual Nano-SIM and it packs digital compass, accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light sensors.

The handset is backed by a 3500mAh non-removable battery.

Lenovo K4 Note to launch in India on January 5

The company has been putting out teasers for the new phone. According to a latest Twitter post by Lenovo, the K4 Note will get 3GB RAM up from the 2GB in the previous version.

The tweet read, “More than 99 per cent of you preferred 3 GB RAM in the #KillerNote2016 & that’s what you’ll get! Get ready for the RAMpage!”. Also the handset is likely to retain the 5.5-inch display size and full-HD screen with 1080X1920 pixel resolution.

Lenovo K3 Note has been one of the most successful smartphones for the Chinese manufacturer. The 5.5-inch full HD phablet with an octa-core 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6592 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable up to 32GB) was big hit for 2015. The K3 Note has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Lenovo’s smartcast technology converts any surface into a touch screen

Lenovo smartcastLenovo showcased a concept smartphone that comes with a built-in projector which can make any surface touch responsive. Lenovo intends to deliver the experience of a touch screen on any surface with its smartcast technology.

The company said that "With a combination of the world’s first laser projector and high-accuracy IR sensors, the smartcast concept phone can project a keyboard on a table, let you play a game or even be used as dual screens.”

High-accuracy IR sensors are used in the smartcast technology. With this technology, you can type anything on the phone without using the device's screen. With smartcast you can play games on a table or a wall. 

Lenovo hasn’t revealed much about the smartcast technology. The smartcast technology is still being tested by the company to improve the overall experience.

Lenovo unveiled Lenovo Vibe X3 smartphones in China

Lenovo has launched its Vibe X3 smartphone in China on Monday. The company revealed two variants of the Lenovo Vibe X3 priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 26,000) for the 32GB storage variant and CNY 1,889 (approximately Rs. 19,500) for the 'Youth' variant. Lenovo has also announced a top end variant, with 64GB inbuilt storage, priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 31,000).

All these three models are now available for pre-orders in China. But Lenovo didn't announce the launch of Vibe X3 smartphone variants outside China.

Both Lenovo Vibe X3 variants feature a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The 4G LTE smartphones feature a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel just below the primary camera. The handsets come with hybrid dual-SIM slots such as in Meizu M2 note which means users can either use two SIM cards or a single SIM card alongside a microSD card.

The Vibe X3 is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM while the Youth variant comes with a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Vibe X3 comes in 32GB and 64GB built-in storage variants while the Youth variant features 16GB inbuilt storage. All the three models support expandable storage up to 128GB by using a microSD card.

The Vibe X3 sports a 21MP rear PDAF (phase detection auto-focus) camera with Sony IMX230 sensor and LED flash. It supports 4K video recording. The handset also features an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. The Vibe X3 Youth variant sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The 32GB and 64GB variant Vibe X3 is backed by a 3600mAh battery while the 16GB Youth variant uses a 3400mAh battery.

Lenovo Vibe P1m, flash sale on 4th November at just Rs 7,999

lenovo smartphoneLenovo Vibe P1m is the latest 4G smartphone launched by Lenovo. The feature-packed smartphone is priced at just Rs 7,999 and it will go flash sale on 4th November. The flash sale will start at 3PM evening. The handset is available only on the e-commerce website Flipkart. Flipkart has already started the registration for the flash sale on October 28. The registration will end at 2PM on 4th November.

The Lenovo smartphone comes with a large 5-inch (12.7 cm) HD IPS display. The display comes with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with pixel density 293 PPI and it features 5-point Multi-touch. With the advanced splash-proof nano-coating inside and outside, the device is engineered for protection against sudden drizzle and accidental spills.

The handset is powered by an 1GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor along with a 600MHz Mali-T720 GPU. The processor is coupled with 2GB RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 16GB. You can expand the storage space to an additional 32 GB using a microSD card. The device runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The Vibe P1m features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. You can click noteworthy photos and selfies with the auto focus camera. It supports Full HD video recording with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The dual-sim smartphone supports 4G LTE and 3G HSPA+. Other connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, A-GPS, micro USB and OTG support.

The handset is backed by a powerful 3900mAh Li-Polymer battery. The battery provides a talk time of 36 hrs on 2G and 16 hrs on 3G and a standby time of 456 hrs on 2G and 552 hrs on 3G. The device is equipped with a manual power saving switch that lets you extend battery life by disabling functions other than call, SMS and clock. It also features Quick Charge function by which you can quickly boost your device's battery by just plugging it in for a few minutes.

Lenovo launched Lenovo S60 at Rs 12,999

      Lenovo has recently launched A6000 plus in Indian smartphone market at Rs 12,999. After this model they are back with its new smartphone Lenovo S60. It is a 3G handset which runs on android operating system. It also supports 4G connectivity. The main attracting features of Lenovo S60 are its camera and the battery capacity.
