Gionee has announced its product launch on October 8 in New Delhi. It is expected that its new flagship smartphone Gionee Elife 8 will be launched in this product launch ceremony. Gionee has announced Elife 8 in China way back in June.
The Gionee Elife E8 features a 6-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels which comes with 490ppi. The device is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It also features a separate graphics processor PowerVR G6200 GPU. The device comes with an internal storage of 64GB which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Elife 8 sports high-quality cameras for both rear and front-facing cameras. The primary camera of the handset is a 24-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation and true-tone flash. 24MP primary camera lets you click pictures like a pro. The smartphone also has an 8MP front-facing camera which is perfect for taking selfies.
The smartphone is loaded with Amigo 3.1 UI based on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop. The dual-Sim smartphone will be compatible with 4G LTE bands in India. The smartphone also features a powerful 3500mAh battery.
