Facebook adds Profile video in the new update for Mobile Users

Facebook has released new updates to mobile profile pages to enable users to better personalize their profiles and more easily control their privacy settings. The new update adds profile videos and lot more cool features.

The new Facebook feature for mobile users allows you to upload a short and looped video as your main profile photo. Profile videos have the ability to add a whole new dimension to your mobile profile page. Users can also set a temporary profile picture that reverts to their old picture at a specified time. With this feature, you can support any charity or Facebook campaigns for a specific time period by changing to a temporary profile pic.

Facebook also introduced more ways to control privacy settings so that users can curate what pieces of information are public and which are only viewable to friends or people that they have allowed to view profiles.

Along with these new profile features, Facebook have made some design changes to mobile profile that improve the profile layout and better present information about you and your friends in a more visually engaging way. Profile pictures are now centered, and bigger to give you more real estate to show off what you can do with these new creative tools.

Facebook is currently testing all of these features to a small number of iPhone users in the UK and California, and they will be rolling them out to more people soon. Facebook, in a news release, said that they believe these improvements to profile will give people more ways to connect and share with each other, and express themselves in meaningful ways.
