Asus has launched the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) smartphone in India for Rs 17,999. The handset is available via the e-commerce websites such as Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon and will go on sale in the offline market from second week of December.
The device features a 6-inch Full HD retina display with 1920×1080 resolution. It comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) is powered by a 64-bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It also offers an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The device sports a 13MP rear camera with large f/2.0-aperture and 0.03 seconds auto-focus and a 5MP front-facing camera. The camera uses the pixelmaster technology as in the other Zenfone models. The pixelmaster camera offers different modes such as HDR, Beautification, Low light, Depth of field, Panorama, Smart remove, Slow motion, Time Lapse and more.
The dual-SIM smartphone supports 4G LTE and it also includes other connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB. The handset is backed by a 3000 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery and the Zenfone 2 Laser is available in red, silver and gold colour variants.
