Micromax enters Laptop market with Canvas Lapbook

The mobile phone manufacturer Micromax has now entered into the Laptop market with its latest Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161. Micromax’s Lapbook is available at a price of Rs 13,999 in the e-commerce website Snapdeal starting today.

Micromax said that they are aiming at 10 percent of market share within the time duration of 1.5 years. This statement hints that they will introduce more products in the Laptop market soon.

The Lapbook L1161 comes with pre-instlled genuine Windows 10 operating system. Lapbook features a 11.6-inch IPS display. It is powered by the Intel quad-core processor clocked at 1.83GHz coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM. It comes with an inbuilt storage of 32GB. For extra storage flexibility, you can use the expandable storage of up to 64GB via the card slot. The Lapbook has a 640x480 front camera for video chatting. The Canvas Lapbook also features powerful dual speakers pumped up with Realtek ALC5645 audio codec which enable a better music experience.

The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery which provides 11 hours of non-stop usage. Micromax also gives 1 year product warranty for the Lapbook.

ZTE Nubia has launched its Nubia Z17 Mini smartphone with dual rear camera setup in India. The device is priced at Rs.19.999 and will be available via Amazon from June 12.
