Motorola India has sent invites for the launch event of the Moto X Force, which is scheduled to take place on February 1 in Gurgaon. The company has been teasing the launch of the 'shatterproof' Moto X Force for the past few weeks in India, and had also confirmed upcoming availability in the country alongside the global launch of the smartphone.

Moto G 3rd Gen to get Android Marshmallow update in India

Motorola has announced Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its Moto G3 smartphones in India. Moto G3 users in India will get the Marshmallow update for their handset which is currently running on Android Lollipop operating system.
“Here is something new and amazing for your Moto G (3rd Gen.), the Android 6.0 Marshmallow!” Motorola India announced on its Twitter account. However, the exact date of the rollout was not mentioned in the tweet.
The third-generation phone of the Moto G series will now be upgraded from Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The 2 GB update will add features like Doze Mode to extend the battery life, Google Now on Tap and simpler volume control and would remove the Migrate and Assist apps.
Users will get the OTA update in their handsets. The handset may automatically show a notification regarding the new update. Otherwise, the user can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > System Update.
